Lagoa das Sete Cidades is a twin lake (green and blue) inside a volcanic crater on São Miguel island, in the Azores. It is located in the western part of the island, near the village of Sete Cidades, and is one of the archipelago's most famous natural landmarks. Visit early or late for clearer views, as clouds often cover the crater.
